Mobile Bristol
On 4th May, the Core Group went to Queens Square to meet with Stuart and Ki from Mobile Bristol. The group tried out backpacks that used GPRS (mobile phone) technology to relay pre-recorded stories about the Bristol riots. The stories were triggered when they stood on certain map reference points. The group really enjoyed the session and learnt more about Bristol’s history. The day coincided with the General Election and it helped us understand the importance of using your vote as many Bristolians died to allow us to vote today.
