Young people from the Archimedia core group were involved in the recruitment process to select the architect who will design our new building. The core group determined the key selection criteria, which were then applied to 14 submissions of interest received from architects across the South West. Young people helped to shortlist 6 architects who then attended for interview. Three finalists were chosen. Young people then visited buildings the finalists had designed and met with the architects and occupiers of the buildings. The young people’s final choice for lead architect was White Design. White Design were appointed in January 2005.
